The Pennsylvania State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (PSAHPERD) is looking to raise awareness of the impact of childhood obesity and will be advocating for legislation surrounding this national health concern on its 2nd Capital to Capitol –ONE Ride.
The ONE Ride is a three-day bicycle ride starting from Harrisburg, PA to our nation’s capital with a few stops in between, including AAHPERD headquarters.
The profits raised will go to the Pennsylvania Heart Association (those donations will be earmarked for educational programs) and to PSAHPERD (profits raised can be distributed as grant monies to applicable schools).
