As Russia has been stripped of 11 of its 33 medals won at the Sochi Olympics the United States temporarily leads the medal standings with 28 overall, though medal upgrades and more disqualifications may further impact the table.

Norway (26) follows in second place ahead of Canada (25). Russia fell from first to fifth place. The International Olympic Committee banned five more Russian Olympians for a total of 19 — and stripped the nation of two more Sochi medals — in its latest round of punishments for the host nation’s doping violations leading up to and during the 2014 Winter Games.
