The UIPM world modern pentathlon body reports major advances on behalf of the Masters Modern Pentathlon movement, with 129 athletes representing 23 nations,
among them a number former Olympians, at the 2016 Masters World Championship in Prague, Czech Republic.
Said UIPM President Dr Klaus Schormann: “Masters is an important movement and it is important that they are growing. Here we saw five continents represented – and I must say it is not about fun. I saw amazing performances. At the same time, there is some kind of friendship. It is a very important pilar of the UIPM and the board of the UIPM has given a lot of support to this movement.”
