Tell me it’s not possible. It’s not, right? It’s just not possible. That we could have missed something. Anything. Could we have missed anything?

No way, right? Not with the 24-hour news cycle, running 365 days a year. At least in sports, we’ve not missed anything. We’ve had top plays. Not top plays. Game of the week. Player of the month. The best this, and the best that. The most amazing this, and the most amazing that!

We’ve had unlikely comebacks. And unlikely stories. We’ve had the battered, and the beaten. The astonishing. The amazing. The winning streaks extended. Losing streaks vanquished. Can you believe this! Did you see that!? Spectacles concealed…and then revealed! From the miraculous to the mundane – from the simple to the sensational…after surviving all the nasty bits… we hope to enjoy the tasty bits…

When it all comes down, what do we know – for sure, and for certain…

What we know is this – that if you happen to catch someone’s eye, if you take a chance to look that someone right in the eyes, and…smile! Well, there’s a better than even chance that they will smile right back at you!

Happy Smiling!

And Happy New Year!!!!
