0

The Paris 2024 Bid Committee has confirmed Groupe ADP, the authority that owns and manages the airports in the Paris region, including Paris-Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Paris-Orly International Airport, as an Official Supplier of the French capicals candidatue. Groupe ADP serves 476 cities from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly connecting 20,900 flights each week. During 2015, the two airports welcomed almost 100 million passengers. As Official Supplier of Paris 2024, Groupe ADP will support the bid through three separate initiatives: The ceremonial reception services for the IOC Evaluation Commission visit to Paris in spring 2017 ● The delivery of a dedicated Paris 2024 marketing campaign in airport terminals in Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly ● The publication of editorial and promotional content in the official magazine of Groupe ADP, Paris Worldwide.

“France and Paris are top global tourist destinations and Groupe ADP manages the main gateway for visitors to our country. Their quality services and knowledge of the tourism industry will be invaluable to the bid. We are very pleased to welcome them as Official Suppliers and to have their expertise as we continue to develop our plans and aim to welcome the world to Paris in 2024,” said Paris 2024 Co-Chairman, Bernard Lapasset, with Groupe ADP Chairman and CEO, Augustin de Romanet, adding: “Groupe ADP is delighted to become Official Suppliers to the Paris 2024 bid and play a part in this unifying project which represents a unique opportunity to promote Paris as a world class city and a hub for international tourism. Paris 2024’s ambitions match the strategic vision of Groupe ADP and if the bid is successful, a Paris Games will act as a catalyst in the development of Grand Paris and promote and grow further the city and region as a major global tourism destination.”
