Vote Ariana Washington for Athlete of the Month
Those who love the sport of track and field should take the time to vote for Ariana Washington for the United States Sports Academy’s Athlete of the Month for June.
Washington, a red shirt freshman for the University of Oregon, surprised the track and field world by winning the 100 and 200 meter dash at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. She was able to score 20 points for the Lady Ducks with times of 10.95 s (100 m) and 22.21 s (200 m). Washington became the first woman since 1998 to win the 100-200 double and helped her team finish 2nd in the NCAA women’s team title.
